Aug 22, 2011 - I agree. However, it was worth it to see Nick Cage burned alive. All in all, I think that scene represents his career.

Sep 9, 2011 - This sounds more like something you would hear in a nature documentary than a horror movie.

Oct 27, 2011 - Wonderful music and a suburb soundtrack! I watch and listen to both over and over. The remake was a sad piece of crap!

Jan 5, 2012 - A beautiful song, and a totally amazing, must see film! It (for me) is a "culture clash" kind of story, the "horror" is implied, not overt, also totally avoid the dreadful Nicholas Cage remake, that is a disgrace.

Feb 9, 2012 - I lived where much of this film was filmed. I searched for years for a video copy of it and finally found it about 1990. Then all of a sudden it's everywhere. I even had a band we managed play at the wickerman festival near Dundrennan recently.

Mar 20, 2012 - "Hope you enjoy mind my video response"? I suppose i was trying to say "Hope you enjoy..." and "Hope you dont mind" at the same time...

Mar 26, 2012 - This is a classic case of a movie that was not only supported by, but almost totaly reliant upon its musical score. Imagine the movie without the music. If you can you will see that the music "IS" the movie. When I think of this movie, and it has influenced much of what I think and do for many years, It is always in relation to the Music.

May 24, 2011 - Oh how this moves me. The great tragedy about The Wicker Man soundtrack is that Paul Giovanni didn't live to see it celebrated in the way it is today. Although the film was on its way to cult status when he died in 1990, I think it took until the 21st Century for the music to be fully appreciated and accepted for what it is - a 20th Century folk masterpiece. Mr Giovanni take a celestial bow, you are not forgotten...
