|One Shot|Justin Bieber Love Story|In Your Arms, Is Where Everything Is Better. Justin's POV: Everything had to be perfect. Everything. If it wasn't..she wouldn't say yes. The wind picked up a bit and blew the rose petals in the sand into a flurry of color. I smiled at the ocean. Even the waves were perfect it seemed. "Justin?" A voice asked. I spun around and smiled wide. There she was...my beautiful girlfriend. And hopefull soon-to-bo-wife. I sighed and swooped her into my arms. "You did this?" She asked slowly..a small grin stretching her pink lips. "Of course! This night is going to be the best night of your life, sweetheart!" She blushed and buried her face in my chest. I laughed happily and swayed back and forth on the sand..trying to think of a way to pop her the question tonight. "You hungry?" I asked her. Her head popped up and she whispered, "It depends on what's in the basket." She smiled and nodded her head towards the small wicker basket sitting on the round table...and then her smile turned into a grimace when she looked at the candles, sitting beside it and said, "You know how I am about fire, Justin." She looked down and shook her head...remembering. I felt like crying for her. Lauren's family died in a house fire last year. She was the only one that escaped that night. She still had nightmares about it. I pulled her chin up and said, "They're fake." She frowned at me and asked, "What are you talking about? Are you high or something?" I chuckled at her expression and brought her lips to mine gently. "You know how like they have those fake candles at the store..and they're really just plastic and a fake flame? Well, that's what those are." I laughed again and whispered to her, "Don't worry, sweetheart! I thought of everything for tonight." Lauren grinned and kissed my cheek sweetly and said, "I don't know what I did to deserve a guy like you, Justin. You're all I ever asked for...and then I got it." She blushed and looked me in the eye. "I love you, Justin. I don't know where..or who I'd be without you." I tickled her tummy a little and popped my collar. "I'm just smooth like that, baby!" She rolled her eyes and pulled me to the table. I pulled out her chair for her before sitting down in my own. She reached for the basket and opened the lid slowly, as if she was afraid a snake would pop out and eat her hand. Then suddenly a peal of laughter came from her. My eyes widened. "What happened?" I asked. She reached her hand into the basket and pulled it back out...to show me a bag of french fries from McDonalds. "Oh my God! You are SO cheap, Justin. I guess that's part of your wonderful charm though. Right?" She said while over-come with fits of giggles. I shrugged and smiled sheepishly. "What can I say? I'm addicted. *They eat, talk, laugh, kiss..blah blah. Not very exciting! ;)* It was time. This question would change both of our lives forever. I swallowed hard and stood up from the table..right as Lauren's phone rang. Her eyes widened and she scowled at her phone. "I'm so sorry, Justin. I'll turn it off." She turned her phone off and smiled at me again. "It's totally fine. Don't worry about it." I assured her. I stood up once again and took her hands in mine, making her stand up as well. "Lauren...there's something I've been wanting to ask you, for a long time. I just wan-." And that's when a bird swooped down...right in the middle of us, scaring us both half to death. Lauren cluched at her heart and starting breathing heavy. "That was the scariest thing..ever!" She laughed nervously and tried to control her laughter. I ended up laughing along with her..and had tears in my eyes from giggling that much. After we settled down a little..I stood up, for the third time tonight. "Lauren..there is something that I need to tell you, and ask you. I've known you for quite a while now..and I don't know. You just make me feel right inside." I smiled when she blushed slightly and I took a huge breath before bending down on one knee. I reached into my back pocket and produced the small black box. "Will you marry me?" She gasped and tears ran down hey beautiful face. I smiled gently and whispered, "Don't cry. Tears don't look good on pretty girls." I winked and she laughed nervously. "Justin.." She looked down and I sighed sadly. She wasn't going to say yes? Well, this is embarrassing. "Justin...I'd love to marry you." I looked up with doubtful eyes and she just nodded. I grinned in victory and jumped up and down in the powdery sand. I pulled my fiancèe into a warm embrace. "I love you so much, Justin." She giggled. "I love you too, baby!" I yelled into the sky. I was where I was supposed to be...or maybe it was just my subconsious telling me everything will work out one day..and it did. "Justin, in your arms..is where everything is better." She whispered in my ear. I nodded and brought my lips to hers in one swift motion..just as the first stars came into view. ~Ashley18998
